New trucks are really tempting since they’re bright and shiny and have the bells and whistles you want. But there are some excellent used trucks on the market, and here are a few of them:
Ford F-150: The best-selling truck in America has a long history of excellence. The 2009-2014 models had three cab sizes—regular, extended, and crew cab—and had a number of power train and bed length combinations. Engine sizes varied – there was a V6 and a V8 model – but they all packed an impressive towing capacity. These trucks also offer comfort and convenience, with remote keyless entry, a sharp interior trim, and a voice activation system.
Ram 1500: The 4th-generation model bagn in the 2009 model year, and contains coil-spring rear suspension, five trim levels, three cab configurations and bed lengths, and a roomy interior. The powerful Ram engine comes in three configurations, the biggest being a 5.7-liter Hemi V8 with 390 horsepower. A roomy interior guarantees comfort, and the newest technology helps with safety.
GMC Sierra: In 2014, GMC redesigned the Sierra to become the most powerful truck the brand has ever produced. Any given Sierra had one of three powerful engines and an all-new and updated cabin. The Sierra contained the latest in technology, including IntelliLink connectivity. A tremendous list of features makes this a must-consider.
Silverado 1500: The third generation Silverado came stacked with a number of new features. There was a choice of one of three gas engines, all V6, with a base displacement of 4.3 liters. That engine lets the Silverado pull a maximum of 11,300 pounds with a max payload of 2,108 pounds (depending on model). For comfort and style, the Silverado had a touchscreen multimedia system with an in-vehicle entertainment system.
These top trucks are available for a test drive today at Tom Hodges Mitsubishi, and if you’re undecided on which you prefer, we would be happy to help you find the best one for you.
