Powertrains and Performance

The 2019 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport’s standard engine is a 2.0-liter four-cylinder with 148 horsepower and 145 lb-ft of torque. It’s mated to a five-speed manual transmission or available Continuously Variable Transmission with Sportronic® technology. The available 2.4-liter engine gives you even more power and churns out 168 horsepower and 167 lb-ft of torque with the CVT Sportronic®. The Outlander also produces and efficient 30 mpg on the highway.*

Interior Design

The Outlander Sport seats five people comfortably, making it an ideal family vehicle. A range of smart design features keep you entertained behind the wheel via Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto™, connectivity along with a premium audio system. The 60/40 split-folding seats let you accommodate bulky cargo, and the Outlander Sport will hold up to 49.5 cubic feet of storage space. Other available features include leather trim and heated seats, perfect for those who want additional refinement behind the wheel.

Safety Features

The Outlander Sport is built with safety in mind. Standard systems like a rearview camera let you navigate tight parking spots with ease, and the Active Stability Control provides improved handling on uneven surfaces. A RISE body construction strategically places crumple zones, while Tire Pressure Monitoring gives you alerts when your tires have low air pressure. Available driver-assist technologies include Forward Collision Mitigation, Lane Departure Warning, and an auto-dimming rearview mirror with HomeLink®.
